Seeking Medical Care

It is important to get care as soon as possible. Preserving Physical Evidence

Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester General Hospital, and Unity Hospital have Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANE) on staff. SANE是一名经过专门培训的注册护士，为在敏感环境中遭受性侵犯的患者提供全面护理, non-threatening manner. It is important to know

Seeking Emotional Support

Whether or not an incident requires medical attention, you may want to seek emotional support as you cope and recover. There is no right or wrong response to an assault. Everyone reacts differently. Emergency Contraception

Emergency contraception (EC), also known as "Plan B" or "the morning-after pill,提供了一个在无保护性交后防止怀孕的机会.
